MarginWise ("we", "our", or "us") is a Shopify app that helps merchants analyze their profit and loss. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
When you install MarginWise, we access the following data from your Shopify store:
We also store settings you configure in the app, such as shipping costs, transaction fees, and operating expenses.
We use your data solely to:
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your order data is synced to our database to enable fast analytics. We store order totals, dates, product information, and customer IDs (not names or emails). Your configured settings (costs, expenses, etc.) are also stored securely.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL) and secure authentication through Shopify's OAuth system.
When you uninstall MarginWise, all your stored data (orders, settings, expenses) is automatically deleted from our systems within 48 hours. You can also reset your data at any time from the Settings tab within the app.
We comply with GDPR and CCPA requirements. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. California residents have additional rights under CCPA including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt-out of data sales (we do not sell data).
